We are in an exciting development phase and are now looking for a social worker who wants to be part of an engaged team that feels a strong commitment to those we work for.

We are looking for someone who enjoys a varied job in a changing environment where no two days are the same. In your role as a social worker, you will investigate, assess, and make decisions about the right to financial assistance according to the Social Services Act. We work with a lower case load, focusing on ensuring that all applicants receive a plan for self-sufficiency. To assist individuals towards self-sufficiency, we have Drivhuset, which is a collaborative arena where our job coaches work together with adult education and the Employment Service.

As support in your work, we have joint case discussions, individual supervision, and continuous reviews of legal practices. The unit consists of six social workers, two of whom work as reception secretaries and four who handle ongoing financial assistance investigations. The unit is led by a unit manager and a senior social worker who provide support in daily operations.

As an employee of Oxelösund municipality, you will be offered a generous flexible working hours agreement, allowing you to influence your working hours. As a new employee, you will receive an introduction with support from engaged colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. You should have experience in the authority's exercise of social services and knowledge of legislation.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and committed social worker who is interested in and has good knowledge in the area of financial assistance. An important quality is your ability to collaborate and create good relationships both internally and with external actors. You are curious, solution-oriented, and willing to contribute to the group's development work. You should have a good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing.
